About

Founded in 1966, Cambridge School Volunteers (CSV) is an independent, non-profit organization that supports the academic and personal success of Cambridge public school children. CSV's mission is to develop and deliver programs that match caring and competent adults with students of all needs and abilities in grades K-12. 


Volunteer activities have included:

  • Tutoring/mentoring elementary, middle, or high school students

  • College/career mentorship

  • Classroom assistance

  • Reading to young children

  • Special subject coaching, including STEM-focused activities such as Science Olympiad
