Description

Looking for a way to support middle schoolers right here in Cambridge? Volunteer as a tutor with Cambridge School Volunteers (CSV) in one of five Upper Schools.

 

Tutors are matched one-to-one with students in grades 6–8, helping with homework, study skills, and confidence-building—while also providing encouragement and mentorship.

Details:

  • Meets weekly from 3:20–4:30 p.m. (Mondays, Tuesdays, or Thursdays—choose the day that fits your schedule)

  • Locations are T-accessible

  • CSV staff provide orientation, training, and on-site support

Why volunteer?

Just one hour a week can make a big difference in a student’s academic journey and self-confidence, helping them feel seen, supported, and successful.


Current Greatest Need (as of Dec 2025): Amigos, Cambridge Street Upper School, and Putnam Ave Upper School
