Description
Margaret Fuller Neighborhood House seeks volunteers to support their food pantry. Responsibilities vary by shift and may include a combination of unloading food deliveries, organizing and packing up produce for distribution, setting up food stations for patrons to select from, and organizing the storage room.
Volunteers may be invited to help just once, especially to try it the first time, but a regular commitment is strongly preferred.
Especially needed shifts:
Thursday and Friday closing shifts
Once a month Friday afternoon delivery shift (unloading/organizing - some heavy lifting/carrying required)
Youth 14+ are welcome to volunteer with or without an adult accompanying them. Groups larger than five people are asked to contact Food Pantry Coordinator Phoebe Heyman for scheduling.
For more information, please contact Phoebe Heyman at pheyman@margaretfullerhouse.org or call MFNH at (617) 547-4680.
