As part of PYD's Career Readiness program, they expose students with disabilities to real-world work experiences around the Greater Boston area. These include job shadows, guest lectures from current professionals, workplace exploration tours, and mock interviews. The goal is to expose students to a variety of potential careers, fields, and workplaces. PYD has in-person as well as virtual options, and can offer one-time opportunities or recurring once a week. Lectures are about 45 minutes.
