People for Riverbend Park Trust is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented volunteer to support the Trust’s financial operations, with a specific focus on nonprofit tax filing requirements. This role is essential to keeping their organization compliant, transparent, and sustainable.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee or assist with annual nonprofit tax filings (e.g., Form 990-N or related documentation)
Maintain accurate financial records, including donations and expenses
Help with basic bookkeeping and periodic account reconciliation
Review receipts, invoices, and reimbursements for park maintenance efforts
Provide general guidance on nonprofit financial best practices
