People for Riverbend Park Trust is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented volunteer to support the Trust’s financial operations, with a specific focus on nonprofit tax filing requirements. This role is essential to keeping their organization compliant, transparent, and sustainable.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee or assist with annual nonprofit tax filings (e.g., Form 990-N or related documentation)

  • Maintain accurate financial records, including donations and expenses

  • Help with basic bookkeeping and periodic account reconciliation

  • Review receipts, invoices, and reimbursements for park maintenance efforts

  • Provide general guidance on nonprofit financial best practices
