About
Grow to Consume's mission is to advocate for climate justice through sustainable food systems for oppressed people living in urban communities.
By providing garden kits to support food justice and compost education as part of advocacy for climate justice, together we can be the spark that brings lasting change through sustainable food systems while improving the air quality for a healthier earth.
Programs:
GTC's Food Sovereignty Circle empowers people living in urban neighborhoods to grow their own food and substantially save food waste through composting as part of building sustainable food systems. This program includes access to GTC's Garden Resource Library which provides garden tools for oppressed people living in urban communities.
GTC's Heritage Seed Mini-Library is a STEAM initiative aimed to increase access to sustainable food systems for oppressed communities living in urban areas. Together we can lower accessibility barriers facing oppressed comunities by providing STEAM workshops and mini-libraries stationed in urban areas.
