Join the CV Volunteer Team at Smoke This Rib Fest!
Event: Smoke This Rib Fest 2026, presented by East Cambridge Business Association
Date: SUNDAY, September 27, 2026 -- Event runs 12 to 4:00 pm. Volunteer shifts run from 11:45 to 2:15 and/or 2:00 to 4:15.
Description: Smoke This Rib Fest is a culinary showdown, pitting pit master against pit master for the title of the best ribs in town. The event is perfect for all ages, so come and enjoy some BBQ, live music, kids' crafts, and so much more!
Volunteer responsibilities:
Work in pairs
Greet and direct visitors
Cover event entrance/exit points along Cambridge Street
Advise event-goers to keep any alcoholic beverages within the festival area
Volunteers will receive an event t-shirt as well as food vouchers to sample some delicious BBQ!
