Connect with a Neighbor While Making a Difference!

Are you a good listener who enjoys conversation and connecting with older people? Cambridge Neighbors is looking for Friendly Visitor Volunteers to spend time with older adults in our community. Gain new skills and experiences!

As a Friendly Visitor, you might:

• Share a cup of coffee and conversation

• Take a walk together or play a game

• Talk about books, music, current events, or shared interests

• Help someone feel more connected and less alone

Visits are arranged based on mutual interests and schedules. You choose how often you’d like to volunteer—whether once a week or twice a month.

Cambridge Neighbors is a not-for-profit organization that helps older adults remain living in their homes through supporting independence and decreasing isolation.
