Description

The city of Cambridge is hosting their second Annual Disability Pride event on Saturday October 3 and need volunteers to help make it happen!


This festive event for the whole community aims to increase visibility, dignity and inclusion of people with disabilities while raising awareness and reducing stigma. The celebration will include free food, resource sharing, and several activities (silent disco, adaptive recreation, sensory friendly area, play streets equipment, and more).


📍 Where: Joan Lorentz Park - Cambridge Public Library - 449 Broadway

Rain date: Saturday Oct 10


Volunteer shifts:

Set up Team: 8:45am - 10:45am (breakfast provided)

Event Staff First Shift: 11am - 12:30pm

Event Staff Second Shift: 12:30 - 2pm

Breakdown Team: 2 - 3pm


Teens 16+ are welcome to volunteer unaccompanied.
