Innovators for Purpose (iFp) offers tech professionals a great opportunity to connect with some of Cambridge and Boston's most passionate high school students and help build their awareness of and interest in college and career pathways in Computer Science fields. If you are eager to help high school students learn CS and engage in social impact work, please join!
Computer Science @ iFp | iFP takes a project-based, just-in-time approach to learning. Students develop skills while exploring creative technologies and building projects that address problems that matter to them, for example educational apps, games, and websites.
How Will You Help | iFP’s websites are designed in Figma and web development is done in HTML5/CSS3/vanilla JS. Games are created using the Godot Game Engine; programming is done in GDScript. Experience with game development, including ideation, story and character development, game mechanics, gameplay, level, and world design is a bonus. Additionally, iFP is now recruiting Data Science volunteers to help teach students topics such as AI model alignment, training, and validation, equipping them with the skills needed to advance their AI projects.
