Join the Cambridge Office for Tourism in celebrating the Cambridge 250th Anniversary! Be a part of this historic summer, and welcome visitors from across the globe in the Cambridge Visitor Information Center.
Volunteer between May 1–September 30, 2026 to receive a commemorative Cambridge 250 pin and a certificate recognizing your service as a Cambridge ambassador during this milestone event.
Volunteers who work 4+ shifts between 5/1–9/30/26 will receive a Cambridge tote bag.
Volunteers who works 8+ shifts between 5/1–9/30/26 will receive their choice of a Cambridge hat or t-shirt.
The Volunteer who works the most shifts during this time period will receive the Cambridge 250 Service Award.
Volunteers greet visitors, hand out brochures and maps, and answer questions to help visitors plan their visit to Cambridge. They provide a valuable service to the community and to visitors! Looking for volunteers for weekly shifts as well as substitute volunteers to fill in as needed, including weekend and holiday shifts.
The Visitor Center is open Monday through Saturday from 9am–5pm (shifts from 9am–1pm and 1–5pm) and Sunday from 10am–5pm (shifts from 10am–1pm and 1–5pm). Volunteers and staff get together monthly as a group to stay up to date on all Cambridge has to offer visitors!
