Description
This volunteer-led organization needs well-organized people to join the art contest team. It’s the powerhouse of behind-the-scenes volunteers who
get the information to CPS teachers, after-school program staff, and families, through email and social media
collect kids’ entries from schools and after-school programs
log hundreds of wonderful drawings by grade-level, sort them, and prepare them for judging.
This could be a great fit for you if you:
....love the idea of celebrating kids’ art-making and our local species all at once;
....have a knack for efficient systems and teamwork, this could be a great fit for you.
Wildlife Arts’ Cambridge City Nature Art Challenge, will run for the 7th year in 2026, for the first time as an all-volunteer effort. The team will meet virtually several times to plan and coordinate tasks, go in person to schools to drop of entry forms and collect art, distribute posters of winning art to local businesses, and at times may work asynchronously on particular tasks, from home or by delivering items to schools. This volunteer team works from mid -February through June, but people with only 1-2 months available will be considered.
