ASPIRE

Description

Founded in 2001, ASPIRE is a volunteer-driven, nonprofit organization that builds and empowers a community of Asian American (AA) women leaders through identity development, mentorship, and education. 


ASPIRE has held conferences specifically for Asian American women and girls in Boston for 14 years. Here they can acknowledge the specific socio-cultural pressures faced by AA women and targets these issues for developing leadership and career skills with initiatives that support the personal and professional growth. ASPIRE strengthens community, aiming to to learn from each other and inspire social change.

 

ASPIRE is looking for various volunteers to join their team that will decide the theme of their next Asian American Women in Leadership Conference. Roles include positions for speaker relations, obtaining sponsorships, and planning logistics. Please see https://www.aawil.org/ for past agenda and activities.
