About the event
Smoke This Rib Fest is a culinary showdown, pitting pit master against pit master for the title of the best ribs in town. The event is perfect for all ages, so come and enjoy some BBQ, live music, kids' crafts, and so much more!
Join the CV Volunteer Team! Volunteers needed for Smoke This Rib Fest on Sunday, September 27, 2026, from 11:45am-4:15pm (two shifts 11:45am - 2:15pm and 2pm - 4:15pm).
Work in pairs
Greet and direct visitors
Cover event entrance/exit points along Cambridge Street
Advise event-goers to keep any alcoholic beverages within the festival area
Optional: sign up with a friend! Leave a note in questions/comments that you would like to be paired together. All volunteers need to submit their own sign up form.
Volunteers will receive an event t-shirt as well as food vouchers to sample some delicious BBQ!
