About the event
Le Grand Prix Elmendorf du Pain is a French-inspired street festival, featuring fierce competition as professional and home bakers compete in a bread making competition. The festival will include an eclectic selection of French-inspired food vendors as well as a local artists and vendors. There will be live music and a generally festive atmosphere.

Volunteer shifts for Le Grand Prix are on Sunday, June 14, 2026, from 11:45pm-4:15pm (two shifts 11:45am - 2:15pm and 2pm - 4:15pm):
Work in pairs
Greet and direct visitors
Cover event entrance/exit points along Cambridge Street
Advise event-goers to keep any alcoholic beverages within the festival area
Optional: sign up with a friend! Leave a note in questions/comments that you would like to be paired together. All volunteers need to submit their own sign up form.
Volunteers will receive an event t-shirt as well as food vouchers for lunch and French-style treats!
