The Recruitment, Training, and Support Center (RTSC) for Special Education Surrogate Parents (SESPs) is a Federation for Children with Special Needs project. Federal education law requires a student’s parents or guardians to be included in the unique education decision-making process. The RTSC Team appreciates your willingness to volunteer in this role as you ensure your newly appointed child receives the educational support they need to succeed. RTSC strives to assist you in this goal by offering support and training to be an effective Special Education Surrogate Parent (SESP).
