PEACE - Mass Peace Action

About

Through grassroots organizing, policy advocacy, and community education, Massachusetts Peace Action prioritizes nuclear disarmament, advocates for non-military solutions for international issues, and commits to ending wars while preventing new ones. MAPA does much of its work through volunteer-driven working groups, e.g. Nuclear Disarmament, Racial Justice/Decolonizarion, Middle East, Climate and Peace, which meet monthly or more frequently.


Volunteer activities have included: 

  • Participating in Working Groups

  • Tabling at special events

  • Setting up/cleaning after events

  • Letter writing

  • Administrative support

  • Phone banking

  • Fundraising/marketing

  • Contacting legislative offices
