About

Mass Audubon is the largest conservation organization in New England and uses its resources to protect the nature and biodiversity of Massachusetts wildlife. Through their extensive programming, Mass Audubon conserves and restores land, educates the public, advocates for environmental policy, and offers adequate access to nature for all. They manage volunteering for Magazine Beach Partners in Cambridge as well as their own sites, including one in Belmont.


Volunteer activities have included:

  • Trail maintenance and habitat restoration

  • Gardening and crop field maintenance

  • Removing invasive plant species

  • Directing visitors and staffing the gift shop

  • Acting as a docent at a Visitor Center 

  • Conducting education programs for children and adults
