About

For over 150 years, Jewish Family & Children’s Services has been helping individuals and families build a strong foundation for resilience and well-being. JF&CS' multi-service programming addresses the needs of new parents and their children, older adults and family caregivers, children and adults with disabilities, and people experiencing poverty, hunger, or domestic abuse.


Volunteer activities have included:

  • Weekly home visits to new parents (“Rubin Visiting Moms”)

  • Packing and delivering food (Waltham, Canton, Marblehead)

  • Supporting Holocaust survivors

  • Providing professional legal assistance to low-income clients 

  • Administrative work

  • Supporting older adults and individuals with disabilities
