Green Cambridge works to create a more sustainable city and to protect the environment for the health and safety of all. Green Cambridge is a place-based 501(c)3 non-profit offering local ecology programs for teens and environmental education opportunities for all.

Green Cambridge leads year-round, interactive & educational outdoor events in the Alewife Brook Reservation where community members can participate in citizen science initiatives, trash clean-ups, invasive plant mapping and removal, and educational nature walks in this beautiful blue and green space within the city. These volunteer events provide fun outdoor learning experiences, and an opportunity for the public to make a direct impact on local land restoration.
