Food Link aspires to have a food system without waste and in which everyone has enough. They rescue 4,000+ pounds of surplus fresh food daily that would otherwise go unused and deliver it to over 90 community organizations that serve people in need throughout Eastern Massachusetts. Some volunteer positions are family-friendly.

Volunteer activities have included:

• Sorting and packing surplus food

• Delivering food to local organizations

• Assisting with operations at the Food Link Hub
