About

Citizensgov brings people together to start innovating a new democracy. No breaking up of America. Just a better democracy.

In the 1770s, the Declaration of Independence inspired people across America to think about democracy, and how it should work. It was a time of excitement and innovation. When Americans dared to dream of creating their own democracy.

Today, Citizensgov wants to rekindle that spirit so Americans create a new democracy. A democracy that will work better for all of America.

Citizensgov holds events to "game out" a new democracy. It’s a fun way to explore how a new democracy might work. Then innovate and iterate.

Volunteers are needed to help lead these games in Cambridge and Brookline.

Our Story

In 2021 Citizensgov formed as a 501(c)(4) nonprofit.

The founders worried that U.S. politics had turned dangerous. They wanted to give citizens a peaceful way to change the course of history in America.
