Camp Sunshine works with families with children battling life-threatening illnesses. It's a community where families find hope, connection, and belonging. Families from all over the world are welcomed at no cost to them. Through engaging activities and meaningful conversations, Camp Sunshine fosters lifelong friendships and creates lasting, transformative memories.

Each session a new group of volunteers step into the role of camp counselor. Camp Sunshine welcomes volunteers 16+ of all abilities and interests. Volunteer activities can include leading activities, playing on the lake, cooking in the kitchen, ice skating in the winter, leading arts and crafts, and more.

Weekend or week-long volunteer commitments come with full days. Volunteers receive three meals a day, laundry services, and shared housing accommodations on Camp Sunshine's beautiful campus on Sebago Lake.
