Cambridge Youth Hockey provides a fun and inclusive introduction to ice skating and hockey for children in Cambridge and its surrounding neighborhoods. Programs include children as young as 4 years old and a moms' group. Learn-to-skate and hockey instruction/team programs begin at age 5. The primary practice facility is at the Simoni Rink in East Cambridge.

Volunteer activities have included:

• Coaching or managing a travel team

• Teaching kids how to skate

• Managing donated equipment so every child can play

• Fundraising and sponsorships to make hockey affordable for all

• Communications and outreach to grow and diversify hockey in Cambridge

• Joining the Board of Directors and shaping the organization
