Cambridge Public Library Literacy Project

About

The Cambridge Public Library System offers free ESOL and literacy classes at four levels of difficulty, plus 1:1 tutoring. To support the career aspirations of the community, they also provide resume writing and computer classes.


Volunteer activities have included:

  • Teaching/tutoring ESOL, literacy, citizenship, and GED/HiSet students

  • Assisting in the classroom

  • Helping students prepare resumes

  • Helping with online job hunting

  • Supporting students with their academic homework (in college, community college, or job training programs)
