Cambridge Juneteenth Committee is a group made up of community members of all ages and roles, who reside in the city of Cambridge and have volunteered to continue to keep the history and celebration of Juneteenth an ongoing event for the city of Cambridge and years to come.

The 2025 theme is " A Legacy to Share" -- although Juneteenth is the celebration of the last of the slaves that were in Texas to be made aware that the Civil War had ceased and they were free, Juneteenth is also a foundational turn in our American History for justice for all, democracy, and civil rights, no matter our color, race, gender, sexuality, and culture. Cambridge Juneteenth Committee would like to honor this in every way by being inclusive to our community and educating our community on this special holiday.
