Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) provides primary care, behavioral health, emergency care, surgery/specialty care, hospital care, maternity care, and state-of-the-art testing services for its diverse range of clients, including multilingual individuals and those across the income spectrum. CHA's care centers — which include locations in Cambridge, Somerville, Everett, Malden, and Revere — also serve as teaching hospitals for the Harvard and Tufts University Medical Schools. All abilities are welcome.

Volunteer activities have included:

• Welcoming/directing/escorting patients (multilingual volunteers are encouraged)

• Bringing activities and reading material to in-patients

• Food service 

• Advisory council participation (current patients/families only)

• Educating underserved populations on disease prevention and healthcare resources, often at community events
