Boston Raising Powerful Musicians (BRPM)

About

Boston Raising Powerful Musicians (BRPM) -- formerly Girls Rock Campaign Boston (GRCB) -- empowers women, girls, and gender-expansive youth and adults through music education and performance. Within BRPM's programs, participants receive instrument instruction (often for the very first time!), form bands, and write and perform original music that celebrates their individuality and creativity.

BRPM is committed to creating an inclusive environment that welcomes and supports a range of gender-expansive identities and expressions. Girls, women, transgender, and gender-nonconforming youth and adults are all part of the BRPM community. If you believe this space is for you, it likely is!

Volunteer activities have included:

  • Teaching participants to play instruments/write music
