So You Want to Volunteer: Just the basics.

Description: How to identify volunteer and board opportunities that fit your interests and skills; What to expect from your first inquiry onward (even, how to quit); Volunteer service as a partnership; Orientation to Cambridge's nonprofit landscape.
Participants should leave the workshop ready to find rewarding volunteer experiences that create meaningful change in the community.

Description: This is a DEEP DIVE. Work at your own pace over 3 months with 1-2 peers/accountability partners, to diversify volunteer recruitment and improve cultural competency training for YOUR organization. On July 13, we will distill common learnings and strategies into a "volunteer equity roadmap" that we hope is of use to other local agencies.
