Women's Money Matters is proud to partner with Boston Medical Center (BMC) for an exciting and unique in-person volunteering opportunity. Volunteers in the program would coach a woman one on one to overcome her financial challenges and set and work towards her goals.

WMM is happy to announce a Financial Futures cohort in collaboration with Boston Medical Center:
People from Boston and around the globe seek care at BMC. Nearly 30% of their patients speak a language other than English as their primary language, so BMC offers all of its services in more than 160 languages—Spanish, Haitian Creole, and Cape Verdean Creole being among the most common. BMC treats patients from across all socioeconomic backgrounds and is dedicated to addressing any barriers to care that may arise because of their socioeconomic status. BMC’s Support Programs for Cancer and for Sickle Cell Disorders offers a wide variety of social and emotional supports for patients and their families, including monthly support groups, a range of activity groups, and other special events and feature programs throughout the year. Their programs are open to all cancer patients and sickle cell patients, regardless of when and where they may have been treated.

Women’s Money Matters is proud to offer their financial wellness program to interested patients would provide further, in many cases much needed, support to those patients. Such services would bolster not only their financial wellbeing, but their wellbeing as a whole, something BMC strives to do for all of their patients.
