Urban Farm Support

Green Cambridge

Description

Green Cambridge manages two pioneering urban farming sites: Hurley Street Neighborhood Farm at 213 Hurley Street, tucked in a residential East Cambridge neighborhood, and the Riverside Community Farm where Memorial Drive meets River Street. Volunteers water, weed, maintain structures, clean up, and do whatever is needed to maintain the two sites.

Volunteer work is typically self-directed based on instructions left at the site. Shifts are available every day, and there is no need to sign up in advance unless you intend to volunteer as a large group. All ages are welcome. Check the work schedule posted on the Green Cambridge website, and just show up!
