Want to get to know your neighbors and do something meaningful at the same time? Cambridge Neighbors provides critical transportation to elders from 5 surrounding communities including Arlington, Belmont, Cambridge, Somerville, and Watertown.

If you have an hour or two a month, are available during the weekday, have a dependable car, and like to support elderly neighbors, please consider becoming a volunteer for Cambridge Neighbors!

Volunteer drivers are especially needed weekday mornings; primarily Mondays-Thursdays. Weekday afternoons and evenings also needed but less frequently.

You will be "paying it forward" and contributing to the welfare of your elder neighbors who are unable to drive and need a ride to a medical appointment or to the grocery store. One of their volunteer drivers says providing this service is the highlight of his week and enjoys meeting interesting and grateful people.

Contribute as few as a couple of hours a month to make a difference in someone's life!
