Mentorship Volunteer Coordinator

ASPIRE

Description

The primary responsibility of the Mentorship Volunteer Coordinator is to interview potential mentors and mentees for the Mentorship Program and to match them up for a successful relationship. She will also serve as a point of contact between the pairs and ASPIRE, and help plan team building activities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Check in with matches and collect evaluation/feedback from matches

  • Communicate and advocate for needs of mentors and mentees to Mentorship Program Coordinator and Mentorship Program Director

  • Work closely with the Program Coordinator and provide support for events when needed

  • Work with ASPIRE team to improve matching process

  • Report to the ASPIRE board liaison

  • Attend monthly ASPIRE team meetings, as needed

  • Represent ASPIRE at community events, as needed

Key Deliverables

  • Recruit at least 10 mentors and 10 mentees

  • Match 10 mentoring relationship pairs

  • Collective evaluation and feedback from matches

Time Commitment: 7-10 hours per week

Length of Commitment: 1 year of active duty, and 1 year of advisory support
