Description

WHO Individual volunteers age 16+ who are healthy and "fragrance free," wear high-quality masks, and have excellent hand-eye coordination

WHAT Team up to learn/make "no sew" cozy double-fleece blankets for foster children.

WHEN Sunday 2/1/2026, 1:30-4:30pm ET

WHERE MIT, Cambridge (exact location will only be given to registered volunteers)


Optional: Donate $12 to help buy the fleece and rotary cutter blades for half a blanket.

WHY The Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (MSPCC) gives the blankets to foster children since these blankets are warm, beautiful, unisex, and easy to clean.

 

HOW Individuals must register themselves BY Jan 22 at https://pmd.org/s/020126.htm


Minors must print waiver-releases and have parents/guardians co-sign.

 

Participation is required for the full, three (3) hours.
