Youth Activism Coaches

Boston Raising Powerful Musicians seeks volunteer Youth Activism Coaches who will collaborate with BRPM staff to co-facilitate school-year Youth Activism Project (YAP) meetings and act as role models and mentors to 13- to 18-year-old youth. Coaches will support youth in developing research skills and walk them through the process of sharing their findings and harnessing creative expression to change the status quo. 

Youth work background -- especially Youth Participatory Action Research or other youth research experience, experience working with youth over virtual platforms, or experience with youth with specific learning needs -- is a plus but not required. No musical experience is required. Candidates must pass a CORI background check.
