Volunteer Usher

Volunteer ushers allow the A.R.T. to function smoothly by scanning tickets at the door, providing show information to patrons, distributing programs, and helping clean up after the show. Volunteers should arrive ready to go and be dressed in all black attire; no jeans, T-shirts, or sneakers. Arrival time is typically around 90 minutes before the start of each show, but may vary depending on the production. Once the show begins, ushers have the chance to see the performance free of charge. Performances generally take place outside of business hours and one-time volunteers are welcome.
