Volunteer Tutors/Mentors
Tutoring Plus
Tutoring Plus
Volunteer tutors work with students who are hoping to advance academically. Tutors are matched one-to-one with students grades 4-12 based on personality and academic profile. Tutor-student pairs will meet regularly at a designated community space. Tutors will not be expected to create lesson plans.
Before being matched with a student, tutors will complete a 90-minute orientation session and are welcome to complete additional training sessions provided throughout the year. Volunteers are asked to commit to one session weekly in the evenings from 6-7pm for at least one school semester.
