Volunteer Stewards

Fresh Pond Reservation

Fresh Pond Reservation

Volunteer Stewards contribute to the ecological restoration of Fresh Pond, working with a dedicated crew of "Super Weeders" to remove invasive plants, maintain trails, and monitor area conditions. Volunteers will learn about the plants and wildlife at Fresh Pond, as well as watershed protection. Training and all necessary tools are provided.

Stewards meet on Thursday mornings from 10am to noon (April-November), gathering at the volunteer trailer in the Cambridge Water Department parking lot before beginning each shift.

For more information, please contact Ranger Tim Puopolo at  tpuopolo@cambridgeMA.gov or (617) 349-6489.
