Cambridge School Volunteers
Upper (Middle) & High School Academic Tutors meet with an upper (middle) or high school student once a week to help them with one or more academic subjects and/or test preparation during the school year. When in-person, locations are at Cambridge upper schools, or the high school.
No prior tutoring or teaching experience is required. CSV provides orientation and training, and volunteers are invited to attend an additional best practices training once per semester.
CSV manages over a dozen distinct programs for many hundreds of students in every Cambridge public school at every grade level. Please complete CSV's online volunteer application when you inquire, so that their staff can answer your questions regarding where they may have an opening for you at any given time. A CORI check and a short individual placement meeting are required.
