Tech Advisor

Technology Advisors for ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) or ABE (Adult Basic Education) programs work one-on-one with students on-site at the Community Learning Center in Central Square. Tech advisors help students fully participate in class using whatever basic technology is needed, including Zoom and the student's distance learning device, such as a Chromebook or a smartphone. Volunteers do not need to commit to being available for the full semester as their work consists mostly of one-time meetings.
