Remote Lunch Cooks

The Friday Cafe welcomes volunteer home cooks and bakers to bring a portion of food for their weekly drop-in meal program, which serves an average of 100 guests each Friday at First Church in Cambridge. Volunteers sign up to cook a main dish, side, or dessert as preferred -- typically enough to serve 10-12 people -- and drop the prepared food off on Friday mornings from 10-11:30am in the church Common Room. 

Beginning September 8, 2023, volunteers will have the option of dropping meals off on Thursday evenings from 5:30-7:30pm, or Friday mornings from 9:30-10:45am in the church Tower Room.
