Point-in-Time Counter

The Department of Housing and Urban Development requires communities to conduct an annual count of unsheltered people sleeping outdoors. As part of their efforts to reduce homelessness in Cambridge, the Cambridge Continuum of Care conducts this event with the help of volunteer teams who go into the city in the middle of the night. This one-time volunteer event typically takes place in January and groups are welcome to participate.
