Non-Patient Related Hospice Volunteers

Volunteers who would prefer not to engage in directly patient-related activities can support Brighton Hospice by assisting with clerical tasks, bereavement programs and calls, special events, and community outreach.

Hours are determined by the availability of the volunteer and scheduling can be flexible, including daytime, evening, and weekend hours. Volunteers with more limited availability may help with annual events or other special projects. Some activities, such as knitting slippers, sewing activity blankets for memory care patients, or making keepsake quilts for patients' families, may be done primarily remotely.
