Middle School Tutoring

Tutors meet with a middle school student weekly after school in a Learning Center located in one of Cambridge’s five upper schools. Each center provides students with a supportive setting where tutors assist with homework assignments, reinforce study skills, and provide general academic coaching. CSV matches each volunteer with a student who has been referred by their teacher for help at the Learning Center.

Classroom volunteers assist once a week in a classroom during the school day. Volunteers help students stay on task, facilitate discussions, and provide academic support for students during the school year. Classroom placements are by teacher request.
