Medical Escort

Medical escort volunteers support older adults by taking them to and from their doctors appointments. In the process, volunteers offer the emotional support and comfort of their presence, making the stressful experience of a doctors appointment a little more pleasant. Volunteers are not required to have access to a car, but will need to be available during the weekday. Each visit typically requires 3-4 uninterrupted hours, and volunteers will be asked to commit at least 6-9 months to the program.
