Hospice/Palliative Care Volunteer

VNA Hospice & Palliative Care volunteers are matched 1:1 to provide compassionate care for terminally ill patients and their caregivers at their home, nursing home, or other non-hospital facility. Volunteers may simply provide a presence or more active companionship, and/or assist caregivers by running errands, etc. Volunteers may also help VNA with administrative or event support. No experience is necessary. A 3- to 4-week remote (evening) training is required (offered 3x/year), and a one-year commitment (weekdays or weekends, daytime or evening) is requested.
