Holocaust Survivor Social Gathering Volunteer

Jewish Family & Children's Services (JF&CS)

Jewish Family & Children's Services (JF&CS)

JF&CS is committed to meeting the evolving needs of Holocaust survivors and their families. Today, they do so by running Cafe Hakalah, a monthly gathering of Holocaust survivors that allows them to connect. Volunteers are needed to assist with registration, greeting guests, and serving food. Those with Russian language skills may also be asked to interpret or translate. Participating as a Cafe Hakalah volunteer requires daytime availability, and one-time volunteers are welcome. Volunteers are required to pass a CORI check.

For more information, contact Ava Harder, Manager of Volunteer Services, at volunteers@jfcsboston.org or call 781-647-JFCS (5327).
