Food Rescuers

Food Link (Arlington)

Food Link (Arlington)

Food Link relies on volunteers to rescue excess food from grocery stores, run deliveries to community partners, and help sort and pack food at their Arlington operations center. As Food Rescuers, volunteers sort and repackage good, healthy food that would otherwise go to waste from the loading docks of grocery stores or other donor organizations. Volunteers with access to a vehicle may provide pickup and delivery support.

Two-hour shifts are available seven days a week, mostly in the mornings. Volunteers work in small teams and commit to a weekly, biweekly, or monthly routine, or opt to fill in slots as needed. Volunteers must be 16 years or older.

For volunteers who need a one-time option rather than a consistent commitment, please see the companion job listing, General Volunteer.

Please contact info@foodlinkma.org or (781) 819-4225 to learn more.
