Food Rescuer/Transporter

Volunteers bring potentially wasted food from food donor partners to local homeless shelters, soup kitchens, and other human service agencies. Food rescues may be completed by public transport, by personal vehicle, on foot and even by bicycle. Volunteers have no minimum time requirement, no person-to-person contact, and will need less than an hour for the average Rescue. Documentation available for community service hours. Some paid positions are available.
