Fieldwork Volunteers

Waltham Fields Community Farm

Waltham Fields Community Farm

Waltham Fields Community Farm welcomes drop-in volunteers on Friday and Saturday mornings from April through October to assist with fieldwork. Volunteers take on tasks like weeding, transplanting, or special projects, helping farm staff out in the fields to grow organic vegetables for WFCF's community supported agriculture (CSA) and low-income food access programs.

Volunteers should dress to get dirty and wear closed-toed shoes for safety on the farm. Fridays are limited to volunteers ages 18 and over, while Saturdays are open to all ages (with volunteers ages 15 and under accompanied by a parent or guardian). No registration is required, though groups of 6 or more are asked to contact volunteer@communityfarms.org in advance.

A special "Crop Mob" Saturday will run from 9am to noon on September 9!
